I like to think of my art as a portal into my own mind: colorful, different, and spontaneous, but also simple. I like to find art in everything from landscapes to a shoe sitting in the closet. They are all waiting to be put into a photograph or into a drawing or illustration. I put as much of myself into my art as I can and my passions greatly influence my subject matter. I started college studying athletic training, and quickly realized it wasn’t for me. I promptly switched to a graphics major and have never looked back. I have played sports my entire life, and I like to bring my love for sports into my art. The experiences I have had while playing or watching them can take shape in my art.
